Port City Models & Talent, Inc is constantly on the lookout for new models and talent to represent. The five divisions in which we are continuously scouting for new faces and talent are:

Print	The Port City Models & Talent print division places commercial and fashion models in magazines, on posters, billboards, point of purchase packaging, catalogs, newspaper ads, brochures, and electronic media.
Television, Film, and Video	Port City Models & Talent places talent in local, regional, and national television, along with feature film work, infomercials industrials and music videos.
Runway	Port City Models & Talent places models in fit, informal showroom, high-fashion, and runway modeling.
Trade show and Promotion	Port City Models & Talent hires model and talent to work at convention centers, trade shows, shopping malls, and various other promotional activities throughout the New England area and beyond.
International	Each year we host specific auditions for Pro-Scout and talent scouts from the International Model and Talent Association (IMTA) to select models to attend the largest modeling conventions in the world to meet with hundreds of top Model Agents at one time in Boston and New York City. Many of these models go on to work in the international markets.

Due to the great number of aspiring models and artists who want to be represented by Port City Models & Talent, we have formulated several ways to be considered by our agents, and have also included the general guidelines for submission.

Open Calls
An Open Model/Talent Call will be held on Wednesday, May 7th from 7-9PM at Chasing the Sun Photography Studios, located at the North Dam Mill, 2 Maine Street, Suite 18-115 in Biddeford, Maine (04005). We are seeking models, actors, voice-over artists, musicians etc; to sign to Port City Models & Talent /Wave-Shaper Records, based in Portland & New York, with working talent in Boston, NYC, London, LA, and Tokyo.

Please bring informal photos (or professional if you have them), full length shots, head shots, an actor's monologue to present and reel or model/spokesperson/host monologue to present that is selling a product (as on QVC). Voice over artists bring voice demo, and monologue of commercials, etc. Musicians bring CD or demo (if available).

The business requires a marketable look, poise, charisma, stage presence, an outgoing personality and a strong motivation to pursue modeling, acting and/or music (and tough-skin and ability to withstand rejection... at auditions) in this highly competitive business. (Modeling) requires that one be tall, thin, fit, have great facial structure, straight white teeth, great skin, and that one be intelligent/articulate with a strong, unique personality and individual style, etc.

Inexperienced talent may also attend and bring a paragraph/monoloque to present and informal photos, so that we can evaluate how you are able to project your personality on film.

Submission by Mail
If you are not in the Portland area, but would still like to be considered by Port City Models & Talent, you may submit photos through the mail. Please send several, recent snapshots, including a facial close-up (with little or no make-up), a full-length body shot, and resume for evaluation. Please include height, weight, hair and eye color, and birth date, as well as address (including e-mail) and phone numbers on the back of the photos. Mail to:
